iPhone Serial Number and 3uTools Check in Ghana
Serial number checks are useful, but they are not enough. Before buying a used iPhone in Ghana, combine Apple coverage, IMEI comparison, and 3uTools / Aisi Assistant report signals with real hands-on testing.
1. Start With Settings, Not Seller Screenshots
Open Settings > General > About on the actual phone in your hand. Write down the serial number, IMEI, model name, storage capacity, and iOS version. Do not rely only on screenshots sent before the meeting.
2. Compare IMEI and Serial Across Sources
Compare the IMEI from *#06#, Settings, SIM tray, box, and any receipt. Compare the serial number in Settings with any box or seller claim. Mismatches can happen after repairs, but they increase risk and deserve more questions.
3. Check Apple Coverage Status
Use Apple's coverage check page to see whether the serial number returns a reasonable model and coverage status. This helps catch some fake or incorrect serial claims, but it does not prove the phone has original parts.
4. Use 3uTools / Aisi Assistant When a Laptop Is Available
Connect the iPhone to a trusted laptop and run a verification report with 3uTools or Aisi Assistant. Look for warnings about battery, screen, front camera, rear camera, Face ID, storage, or motherboard data.
5. Pay Attention to Capacity and Parts Warnings
Some iPhones are modified to show higher storage capacity or repaired with cheaper parts. A report warning about changed storage, non-original battery, display replacement, or Face ID issues should affect your decision and price.
6. Do Not Treat Any Tool as Final Proof
Serial number, Apple coverage, and 3uTools / Aisi reports are signals. A phone can still have hidden iCloud risk, carrier lock, weak battery, bad screen, water damage, or payment scam risk. Use the full live checklist before paying.
